Conditions of participation
1. Subject of the conditions of participation and organizer
(a) These conditions of participation regulate the conditions for participation in the competition and any necessary transfer of rights. The description and the procedure of the respective competition are part of the respective competition campaign on the Instagram and Facebook page of Cattleya Kitchens.
(b) The competition is organized by Cattleya Kitchens, 62 Pitshanger Ln, Pitshanger, London W5 1QX, United Kingdom.
(c) With participation in the respective competition, these conditions of participation are accepted.
(d) The competition is not connected to Facebook/Instagram, it is not sponsored, supported, or organized by Facebook/Instagram.
2. Participation
(a) Anyone who has reached the age of 18 is eligible to participate in the competition. Employees of Cattleya Kitchens and affiliated companies are excluded. Participation with fake identities or with third party identities is not permitted.
(b) Eligible participants can participate in the competition by liking the competition posting (“Like”) and becoming a fan of the page – Cattleya Kitchens and leaving it until the winners are selected.
(c) Participation is possible until July 31, 2020, 11:59 PM.
3. Prizes and prize notification
(a) Raffle of Instant hot and cold water sink mixer, with boiler and filter unit, HP 1 from all eligible participants.
(b) The winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible participants within one week of the closing date. The winner will be notified via Instagram direct message or Facebook message and in a separate posting.
(c) If we do not receive any feedback from the winner within 7 days of the notification of the prize, the prize entitlement expires. In this case, we are entitled to carry out a replacement draw.
(d) Only one win is possible per participant.
(e) The prize is neither transferable nor can the prize be exchanged or paid out in cash.
(f) If circumstances arise for which we are not responsible, the respective winner accepts a reasonable replacement prize. Such circumstances, which are not attributable, are in particular those that lie with the sponsors of the prizes.
(g) The prizes will be sent to the winner by post.
4. Granting of rights of use
(a) By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that we may use his/her name for advertising purposes.
5. Liability and Exemption
(a) If the participant uploads photos, the participant guarantees that he will not send any content, the provision, publication, or use of which violates applicable law or the rights of third parties.
(b) The participant releases us from third-party claims of any kind resulting from the illegality of photos that the participant has used. The exemption obligation also includes the obligation to completely release the organizer from legal defense costs (e.g. court and lawyer costs).
(c) By participating in the competition, the participant releases Facebook/Instagram from any liability.
6. Exclusion
(a) A violation of these conditions of participation entitles us to exclude the respective participant from participation. This applies in particular if the participant provides incorrect information or if used photos or other content (e.g. comments) violate applicable law or the rights of third parties. The same applies to comments that can be viewed as glorifying violence, objectionable, annoying or degrading or that otherwise violate social decency.
(b) If the excluded participant is a winner who has already been drawn, the prize can subsequently be withdrawn.
7. Premature termination as well as changes
(a) We reserve the right to terminate the competition prematurely or in part at any time, even without observing deadlines, or to change its course if it results from technical (e.g. computer virus, manipulation of or errors) in software/hardware) or legal reasons (e.g. prohibition by Facebook/Instagram) it is not possible to guarantee that the competition will be carried out correctly.
8. Data protection
(a) We are responsible for the collection, processing, and use of personal data of the participants provided that we process them ourselves. We will only use the personal data of the participant and his other personal data within the framework of the legal provisions of data protection law. We will only save, process, and use the information insofar as this is necessary for the implementation of the competition or the participant’s consent. This also includes use to exercise the granted rights of use. The data will only be used to run the competition and will then be deleted. The participant can request information about the personal data stored at any time. Our data protection notice applies accordingly,
9. Final provisions
(a) If the conditions of participation contain ineffective regulations, the effectiveness of the remaining conditions remains unaffected.
(b) British law applies. A legal process to check the draw is excluded.
